Who Said That? Rules of the Game

Below is a special presentation of BIFOCALS (with Ageless1der Barbara Rich and The Other Guy). Now that we think of it, ALL presentations of BIFOCALS are special, but this one was created with the viewer in mind. Barbara created a “game without many rules, and no winners or losers,” that she calls WHO SAID THAT? We are inviting YOU to participate in future broadcasts of the BIFOCALS tv and podcast series by sending us your quotes, even if YOU don’t know where the line came from. That’s the beauty of it. You win, just by playing.

Here’s how we play:

  1. Someone (in random order) says a quote from a movie.
  2. The other person, or people within earshot not only try to name the movie, and the name of the character who made the line famous. Sometimes you will only remember the name of the actor or actress, but that O.K. too.
  3. The quotes are rarely exact, and people doing bad imitations are both elements that are part of the fun.
  4. Remember, you don’t need to know the answer to the question. You just ask, “Who said…?” or “What about this one…”
  5. There are no penalties for multiple guesses…In fact, there are no penalties.
  6. The fewer the words you use in your original quote just makes the whole thing more interesting. It’s like charades, karaoke, and Jeopardy rolled into a good old fashion conversation, and you don’t even have to put your attempted answers in the form of a question.

If you want to play along, in L&L Magazine, or on our broadcast, please send your quotes–or attempted quotes–to Barbara Rich  ( Again, you don’t even have to know the answer. We’ll research it for you and use the best one’s on the air. Please make sure, when you send an email to Barbara you put into the subject line: Who Said That? Comment on these shows on FACEBOOK by clicking here. Now, WATCH THE SHOW and spread the word. Game on!
